Question 1

Which suburbs do you cover?

Accepted Answer

Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Include your address when you book and we'll confirm we can get to you.

Question 2

Do you clean commercial spaces as well as homes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Most of our work is residential, but we also clean offices, gyms, rentals and common areas. Tell us the space on the quote form and we'll price it by the square foot, the same as a home.

Question 3

Are you licensed and insured?

Accepted Answer

Yes, licensed and insured in Illinois. We've been family owned and operated since 1991.

Question 4

Is it safe for kids and pets?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Plant-derived pre-treatments, no residue and no perfume masking. We can go fully unscented on request.

Question 5

Do I need to move furniture?

Accepted Answer

Leave it. We move anything two people can carry and block it on pads so wet carpet never touches wood. We'll ask you to clear breakables and floor clutter.

Question 6

What does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Carpet cleaning is priced by the square foot, with a $150.00 minimum service charge. We confirm the price before anyone drives out. See our Pricing page for typical rates, or fill in the quote form for a firm number.

Question 7

Do you have a minimum service fee?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the minimum service charge is $150.00.

Question 8

How fast can you get someone out?

Accepted Answer

Same-day and next-day appointments are available when our schedule allows, at no additional fee.

Question 9

Do you charge a walkthrough fee?

Accepted Answer

No. The price we quote by phone or form is the price you pay — no walkthrough required and no surprise add-ons at the door.

Question 10

Can you invoice my landlord or property manager directly?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we regularly bill landlords, property managers and leasing offices for rental turnover cleanings.

Question 11

How long until I can walk on it?

Accepted Answer

You can walk on it in socks right away. Full dry is 4-6 hours in most homes.

Question 12

How often should carpet be professionally cleaned?

Accepted Answer

Every 6 months.

Question 13

Will cleaning make my carpet wear out faster?

Accepted Answer

The opposite. Grit is abrasive; leaving it in the pile is what grinds the fibre down. Hot water extraction removes it without leaving detergent behind.

Question 14

Can you get out old set-in stains?

Accepted Answer

Often, but not always. Dye stains, bleach and sun fading are permanent. We tell you at the walkthrough rather than charging you to find out.

Question 15

Why do rugs get picked up instead of cleaned in place?

Accepted Answer

In-home cleaning can only reach the surface. Rugs hold dust and soil deep in the base, which is why we wash them fully submerged in our plant instead.

Question 16

What's the difference between area rug and Oriental rug cleaning?

Accepted Answer

Everyday wool, synthetic and blended rugs are cleaned with the same hot water extraction we use on carpet, in your home. Hand-knotted Oriental, Persian, silk and antique rugs get a gentler, dye-tested hand-wash built for natural dyes and delicate foundations.

Question 17

Will my rug shrink or bleed color?

Accepted Answer

We test for colorfastness before washing. Shrinkage is rare with proper fiber-matched cleaning and controlled drying.

Question 18

Is furniture cleaning safe for all fabrics?

Accepted Answer

We test every piece first. Most cotton, polyester and blended fabrics take our standard solution; delicate or unknown fabrics get a gentler approach.

Question 19

Is leather cleaned the same way as fabric?

Accepted Answer

No — leather gets a pH-balanced cleaner and conditioner instead of the water-based process used on fabric, which would dry out and crack leather over time.

Question 20

Why does microfiber need a different process?

Accepted Answer

Most microfiber is solvent-only — water leaves permanent rings and a stiff texture, so we clean it dry instead.
